PINTAR CON SABOR
Celebrating the colors and flavors from each stroke of the brush and each sip from the glass.
Benriach believes distilling the perfect Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is an ART and that true appreciation comes from highlighting the craftsmanship behind it, the attention to detail, and the love and care that goes into every cask.
Further exploring the parallels between the whiskey and art worlds, Benriach has teamed up with Miami local artists, Jenny Perez and Cynno Santos. Through this partnership, we hope to shine a light on their work, passion and craftsmanship as they use Benriach and their own Hispanic culture as a "muse" to create a unique piece of art presented on a barrel head, on display throughout Miami.
Meet the Artists
Jenny Perez is a culturally-influenced visual artist based out of Miami, Florida. With over a decade of experience, Perez’s projects span a wide variety of sizes, from massive interior and exterior murals, to collections of paintings ranging in size and medium, fine art prints, and at-home private collections around the world.
She began her career as an apprentice under internationally-recognized masters such as Romero Britto and Erni Vales which led her to become one of the pioneering artists in the rise of Miami’s Wynwood Art District, playing a key part in the street art movement of the neighborhood.
She has worked on product development and in-store visual design campaigns with international brands such as Armani Exchange, lululemon athletica, Barry’s Bootcamp, and Prada and has been featured in international publications including DISfunction Magazine, Latina Magazine, and onCuba, for her dynamic, multi-media works.
Cinthia "Cynno" Santos

As founder and creative director, Cinthia designs or oversees all of Chalk & Brush’s pieces, and her versatility and eye for color have captured the attention of national brands such as Starbucks, Spotify, Lexus, Ford, West Elm and more.
Final Pieces & Behind The Scenes
Inspiration Behind The Art
"In line with Benriach, my piece is titled 'Whisked Away'.
It is inspired by the idea that all great things start with one ingredient or one line in this case. The line work is important to observe as with Benriach, there are several ingredients that are arranged so perfectly to make the blend - as is this piece.
I want this piece to feel airy and light, feminine and dreamy. The viewer can follow it with the eye. The concept of having the entire figure be composed of several simple and complex lines that compose an entire image is the basic concept.
I look forward to exploring this more by adding the colors and translating it onto the Benriach barrel head." - Jenny Perez
Inspiration Behind The Art
"The background is a mix of coffee leaves and flowers my grandmas in Cuba grew in their backyards. That part will be painted in acrylic and the letters will be traditional sign painting enamel.
In the tasting with Javier, I loved learning about how Rachel combines flavors from different casks in order to create a perfectly layered blend, and I think my combination of fine art, modern design and traditional lettering techniques resonates with Benriach perfectly.
The design is also a blend of three things I love: coffee, plants and lettering." - Cynno
